Q: Are attorney calls included in the Legal Subscription Plan?

Absolutely! We encourage open communication with your legal team without the worry of additional charges. For transparency: if any call would incur extra fees, we'll inform you in advance.

The Starter Shield includes quarterly strategy calls, while Growth and Enterprise levels include more frequent strategic sessions. You can also reach out via email anytime for project updates.

Q: What is the minimum or maximum commitment for the Legal Subscription Plan?

We require a three-month minimum commitment to ensure we can deliver meaningful impact for your business. There's no maximum duration—continue as long as you find value in our partnership. Whether you need us for a focused period or as an ongoing legal partner, we're here to support your growth.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

We require 30 days' written notice for cancellation. This allows us to properly transition any ongoing projects and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Q: How long does each project take?​

Project timelines vary based on their nature and complexity. For government-regulated processes like trademark registrations, expect 12-18 months until final registration. Copyright registrations typically take 3-4 months, depending on complexity. We'll provide specific timeline estimates for each project at initiation.

The thing for you to remember is not to worry about the timeline but to simply just file and protect your intellectual property.

Q: What if I need a project that isn’t on the list of substantive legal services?

Let's discuss your needs. Many projects can be incorporated into your subscription, depending on scope and complexity. Every business is unique, and we're committed to finding solutions that work for you. If a project falls outside the subscription scope, we'll provide clear options and member-exclusive pricing.

Q: What is included in the trademark registration service?

Our trademark application service includes a comprehensive search of the USPTO federal database, all 50 states for prior registrations, domain availability, WIPO international trademarks, and social media and apps to identify potential conflicts. We provide a legal opinion and report based on the search results and handle the filing of your trademark application.

Throughout the process, we respond to routine, non-substantive Office Actions, oversee the publication and certification of your trademark, and act as your attorney of record. If you’re on a Legal Subscription Plan, the service does not include the USPTO filing fee ($350 per class), the Statement of Use fee ($150 per class), or the Request for Extension fee ($125 per class).

Q: Do you handle litigation matters?

W. Manly, P.A. focuses on transactional and consultative services rather than litigation. While we don't represent clients in court, we guide you through business disputes and can recommend trusted litigation partners when needed. Our primary goal is helping you prevent litigation through proper legal protection and risk management.
